JOSH'S NOTES - 2022 Stolen Horse Syrah
This could be my favorite Stolen Horse yet - ultra deep, rich purple. Gobs of lavender, garrigue, fresh plums, and olives erupt from the wine aromatically. Really smells like the landscape in which it was grown and reminiscing of my teenage years working in the Loess Vineyard at Leonetti and the lavender planted at each end row. Ultra silky tannins that are rich and round with black cherry, cigar wrapper notes, and a long finish. Enjoy this wine now through the next 15 years!

JOSH'S NOTES - 2023 Elizabeth Chardonnay
When we started this project, we really fell in love with trying to make Chardonnay like those of Chablis but obviously in our own version of the Walla Walla Valley lens. I think this new vintage may do that the best yet. Green apple, freshly cut pear, and hints of newly harvested hayfields. Lively, zesty acidity but with subtle richness to keep the wine balanced. This comes from Kenny Hill and Flying B Vineyards- two sites known for later ripening, lower alcohols, and more natural acidity- perfect for Chardonnay. Enjoy!
