2013 Stolen Horse

2013
Stolen Horse

Winemaker Notes

Aromatically complex with loads of raspberry, red rose petal, cool wet earthy components and a slight amount of vanilla and cinnamon. A wonderfully balanced wine — reflective of the 2013 vintage — is soft at first, but progresses to a larger tannin structure, pairing acidity and a super long finish. The addition of Walla Walla Valley Syrah from Leonetti Cellar’s Loess Vineyard provides structural complexity when paired with the soft and feminine Echo Ridge fruit. This wine, though drinking great now, will age gracefully for another 5-10 years.
